Ingredients:

Beef – one pound (or two)

Onion, carrot, garlic, celery, eventually herbs (thyme, basil, rosemary, laurel, juniper)

Tomato paste (concentrate) or sauce

Potato

Mushrooms

Red wine

Marine salt

 

 

 

 

 

Carne al Vino Rosso (2)To make it quick: cut the beef in large cubes (3 x 3 inches) set a large fry-pan on high fire, let heat well the fry-pan.

After this drop the cubes of beef and roast each side well.

Do not overcook, the beef will be ready as each side is brown, set apart for later.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Carne al Vino Rosso (1)Put two three spoons of extra virgin olive oil in a pot, to fry chopped onion.

You can add carrots, celery, garlic if you like.

Carne al Vino Rosso (7)Cover with a lid, reduce the fire and let boil five-six minutes before to open.
